About the Item
Rare Axel Salto inspired pieces from Royal Copenhagen. Hour Glass Shaped Stoneware Vases or candlesticks designed by Gerd Bogelund during the 1950s or early 60s. Decorated with a dark brown almost black main glaze and featuring abstract/floral impressions in lighter glazes up towards the neck. Fully marked to the base with designer initials, serial number and makers mark from Royal Copenhagen. Measurements: H: 15.7 cm, D: 6 cm at the top.
