SATURNUS
Saturnus is the new collection of vases by Atlasproject. Inspired by the sixth planet of the solar system with its incredible ice rings, the Saturnus collection is characterized by the extremely modern essentiality of the design and the
highly original combination of materials. The mirrored steel and the brushed brass blend in the enthusiastically futuristic lines of the design, giving life to vibrant objects, which reflect the surrounding environment in infinite
variations.
Our Project
The synergy between a thirty-year Italian craft experience and an original design, based on the need to research and develop topics up with the new aesthetic trends, gives birth to Atlasproject, an exclusive furniture collection conceived by the designer Massimiliano Giordano.
Born and developed first in Copenhagen, then in Vienna and finally in Rome, the project is – as a matter of fact - a journey of contamination and encounter between the many cultures of the European Design.
The production is focused on a dynamic dialogue between geometries and materials, which leads to collections of deep impact and elegance. Every piece merges essential geometric shapes with the most surprising materials, textures, and colors, as the result of a careful selection of natural materials and hand-processed metals.
The Atlasproject collections are entirely made in Italy, where the tradition of artisanality is still a deep value, to ensure high-quality and long-life products.
Of Neapolitan origins, Massimiliano Giordano grew up in
the family’s artistic atelier.
The artisan knowledge and the design skills lead him to Atlasproject, a creative container inspired by the journey, leit motiv of his personal and professional life. In fact, the designer leaves from Naples towards Copenhagen, where he will stay for five years, and then for Vienna for five years more in the heart of the Mitteleuropean design, and finally in Rome, where he currently lives and works.
The amazing connections between the encountered design souls actually represent the most significant stylistic figure of his works.

Galerie Philia
Galerie Philia is an international contemporary sculptural design and art gallery representing emerging and established designers and artists. The gallery is the brainchild of two brothers who share a lifetime passion for art, literature and philosophy. Their distinct academic background sets them apart from their peers, as it sees them following a rhizomatic and transcultural approach in the way they select works. This involves combining elements from multiple cultures in what becomes a network of harmoniously interconnected roots, ultimately revealing the beauty of each unique creation. The gallery’s non-hierarchical curation sits apart from the ephemerality of trends and focuses instead on the true aesthetic quality of the piece – alluring and timeless. Unlike others, Galerie Philia does not focus on a single style – whether minimalist, organic or raw – but rather embraces heterogeneity. The Galerie Philia takes pride in discovering new talents, providing them with multiple international platforms to showcase their latest creations. As well as propelling the newest generation of 21st century collectible design, Galerie Philia also works with internationally known design artists. Galerie Philia has a strong international presence, with galleries in Geneva, New York and Singapore. In addition to their permanent spaces, the gallery organizes temporary group exhibitions and artists residencies in first-class locations around the world.
