Exquisitely crafted by renowned ceramist Ingrid Atterberg for Uppsala Ekeby, this black, white and grey chamotte vase with a distinctive handle and rough surface epitomizes mid-century Scandinavian modern design.
Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) formgav många klassiker för Upsala-Ekeby mellan 1940- och 1960-talen. En av de mest välkända serierna är Progresso från 1958. Den består av åtta lergodsföremål i form av vaser och skålar. De har en ruffig yta med rustikt uttryck. Godset är djupstämplat på undersidan med UE, Sweden, Abg och modellnummer. Serien tillverkades fram till 1959.
