About the Item

Blue vase in Scavo di Cenedese glass made in the 1950s. Measures: Ø 13 cm, H 19 cm Scavo glass is a type of ornamental glass with a rough surface with a matte finish in imitation of antique glass, predominantly gray, but also with streaks of various colors. Simone Cenedese has been producing artistic objects in the glass factory that bears his name since 1946. He belongs to the young generation of Murano masters. Develop a style with contemporary touches: from’lighting all’objects. For him, glass is an open work, and every time he loves to interpret it with new shapes and colors. In his works, characterized by sinuous and soft lines, more than 40 different colors interact with each other. Its massive objects hover light.
