Description:
This original set of two modernist plant pots vases was produced in the 1950s in France. its is attributed to be designed and produced by Mathieu Mategot. typical mategot design with perforated sheet metal, hole pattern in square form with a size of 21 cm in height and 21cm in diameter. extraordinary in such a large size and very rare to find. it is made of white lacquered metal with a round metal finsihing at the top. each element has 3 black plastic stand elements underneath which has been authentic renewed.
straightforward and minimalistic design of the 1950s design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home.

Condition:
This item is in a age related vintage condition, due to using and aging with lacquer imperfections. several rusty spots due to water influence. looks like the planter has been lacquered on several spots also inside the bottom and underneath the stand several years ago, as the color already patinated again. 3 black plastic stand elements underneath has been authentic renewed.
