About the Item
The Small Breakout Vase by Brent Warr is a sculptural statement piece that embraces organic form and material experimentation. Hand-shaped from a proprietary blend of gypsum, pulp, and epoxy, the vase features a fluid, asymmetrical silhouette punctuated by playful, bulging nodules that evoke a sense of emergence and tension. Its surface captures and reflects light in subtly shifting ways. Equal parts vessel and art object, the Breakout Vase offers a bold accent for interiors that celebrate the unexpected—perfect for designers drawn to pieces with personality, texture, and a distinctly handmade presence.
Each piece is made to order and is available in white, black, cream, or custom colors.
Brent Warr Studios founder Brent Warr was raised in Georgia, USA and studied at Auburn University’s college of Architecture, Design, and Construction. Before moving to the back to Georgia to start his furniture and lighting studio, he moved to NYC to work for esteemed Interior and Architecture firms Meyer Davis Studio and Yabu Pushelberg.
Now located in Bainbridge, Georgia, Warr’s furniture, lighting, sculptures, and interiors projects are defined by a studied balance of fluidity and structure, composition and function. His practice is both intuitive and informed by an understanding of history, process, and materials. Above all, Warr’s guiding principles are humor and storytelling. Brent Warr has been featured in Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Vogue Living to name a few.

Kate Butler is a writer and artist working primarily in drawing and ceramic clay. Her sculptures describe subliminal experiences of space through forms that feel alive and vaguely human.
In 2019, she earned an MFA Fine Arts and MS Art History from the Pratt Institute, pursuing both a rigorous studio practice and original research on ceramic sculptor Stanley Rosen. Before attending Pratt, Kate studied and apprenticed at the Marchutz School of Fine Arts, a “school of vision,” based in Aix-en-Provence, France, that integrated the study of plein-air painting with seminars in art criticism.
