The cased glass body comprised of a globular shaped base decorated with finely executed hand painted images in enamels of swallows against a striking brilliant yellow ground, rising to a slender neck applied with a gilded vermicular border. The interior showing a vivid pink surface, the underside of the base showing hand painted factory marks in script.
