Studio Pottery Vase
About the Item
A striking stylish vintage Studio pottery vase of rounded bulbous teardrop shape in a typical Mid Century modern style, a vert elegant yet substantial piece.
This heavy rounded stoneware vase tapers upwards, finishing with a flat top that has a smooth finish at the top of the neck. It has been constructed from a textured natural clay with incised rough textured brush stroke detail, a natural tone base and darker brown colour texture detail around the top half with raised detail.
Quite a heavy piece, the vase works equally well simply displayed on its own, or being used with flowers or grasses.
