REDUCED FROM $950....Classic and elegant, very tall and large handmade Italian glass covered urn in a tortoiseshell design from late the 1960s and early 1970s, a period when modern decorative arts from Italy were in vogue.
The Tartaruga (tortoise) pattern in this urn has beautiful deep topaz and amber coloring resembling the popular items made of shells of turtles very popular in the late 19h century in Europe. Many of these modern glass pieces were manufactured in the region of Empoli outside Florence, Italy.
In very good condition with no issues.
Measurements: 9 inches diameter center x 19 1/2 inches high with top x 14 1/2 inches high w/o top.
