About the Item

Unique vase designed by Elio Raffaeli in 2018 at Murano, known for his glass works. The vase, which is in dark purple, shows Raffaeli's masterful ability to work with colors and shapes in glass, making it a unique collector's item. Elio Raffaeli was born in 1936 in Venice and began his career in the famous Seguso-Dalla Venezia glass factory, where he was trained by Piero Scaramal. After seven years he moved to Salviati, where he refined his techniques in both blown glass and solid glass sculpture. In 1966 he was employed by Briati, where he was given responsibility for his own workshop, and shortly afterwards he founded his own company, Ars Murano. Today he is recognized as one of the leading glass designers from Murano, where he creates unique works that are sought after all over the world Dimensions: H: 87 cm W: 34 cm D: 16 cm
