About the Item

Unusual Art-Deco vase by d'Argyl, Paris, circa 1928. Pressed moulded and blown smoked glass in ochre tones, with floral decoration in relief. Signed under the bowl. D'Argyl is in fact a trademark used from 1928 by the company Val (E. ) & Cie., a goldsmith located at 218 rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin in Paris. The company ceased trading in 1940. The vase is in very good used condition with no chips or cracks.
