Unusual Gothic "Farsta" Vase by Wilhelm Kåge

About

A very rare Farsta, a triple vase of an unusual form that I have seen only one other example of a very similar vase in the Wilhelm Kåge collection at the Swedish National Museum, in Stockholm. What appear to be organ pipes of ascending height are each perforated by a Gothic arch, openings which allow a view of the stems of the flowers held within. Fully signed, with impressed studio marks, and incised signature "Kåge," and "Y" (indicating 1953, the year it was made) appearing three times.
