Vase, winter decor, glass metal mounting, Art Nouveau original, 1910, France

About the Item

Wonderful dreamy vase, an original from the art nouveau period, made around 1910 in probably France (or Belgium), with floral metal mounting and glass gemstones. The vase is made of purple glass, with a round base, a thinned body that then ends in a square opening at the top. The special feature is the exquisite metal mount. It shows branches and cones of a silk fir. A wonderful floral winter motif. In addition, the glass stones, modeled on real gemstones, which are incorporated into the upper edge are an outstanding piece of handicraft. Measurements approx.: height 15,94 in - 40,5 cm, diameter 5,91 in - 15 cm. An extraordinary piece of handicraft from the special Art Nouveau period in outstandingly good condition.
