Very Impressive Pair of 19th Century Dresden Vases

About the Item

This pair of Dresden or Helena flower encrusted vases are in Meissen style. The vases have hand painted cartouches after the French court artist Watteau and are adorned with hand-modelled encrusted flowers .On top of the domed lids sit a pair of porcelain figurines depicting Greek love gods, the handles moulded in the form of porcelain female figures holding a goose, depicting fidelity.
