Vintage Mid-Century Ceramic Textured Vase 1960s
About the Item
A simple organic cylinder shape starts with a base in pinkish nude shades that runs vertically with bands of ceramic that build up to create a vessel that striking yet welcoming. Textured grooves run and up and down the perimeter of the piece adding strokes of deep ash hues around the reddish-pink orange glaze that envelops the piece thru out. The result is a vessel that is organic and pulsating with color the way it may appear in nature…pulsating thru out…glowing at times and dimming in other instances. Beautiful piece that is inviting to the eye and thought provoking. Signature unknown. Provenance of this piece is Britain.
