Wabi Sabi Surface Vase, Available in 2 Colours
About the Item
The Surface vase embodies organic landscapes that naturally bend and crease. Its asymmetrical curves feel wholesome because they speak to wabi-sabi's appreciation for the unrefined. Rustic and raw, it is crafted without tools, preserving the art of hands meeting clay. A sublime figure patterned with natural veins and furrows, a feature only accomplished by handcrafted pottery. With a wide mouth, this design allows for flower arrangements to naturally splay outwards in a satisfying fashion. Made to order, each vase features its own unique qualities. Available in two colours.
Inherently wabi-sabi by nature, E+ Ceramics takes it back to basics with handcrafted ceramics made one by one in her artist's studio. Handcrafted wabi-sabi vases are unique and beautiful objects that bring a sense of authenticity and character to any living space. These vases are made with imperfect lines, rough textures, and natural materials, embodying the wabi-sabi aesthetic of finding beauty in imperfection and impermanence. Handcrafted objects like these vases offer a connection to the past and a sense of human touch that is often absent in mass-produced items. They tell a story of the maker's skill and creativity and bring a sense of warmth and personality to a home.
In a world of disposable goods and instant gratification, handcrafted objects remind us of the value of slowing down, appreciating the beauty of imperfection, and building a meaningful relationship with our surroundings.
