About the Item

White torus vase by Lea Ginac Limited Edition of 2. Dimensions: diameter 23 x height 30 cm Materials: natural clay. rough exterior, transparent enamel interior. Technique: hand-modeling. Available in two colors, terra cotta, and white. Hand-crafted in Italy. This vase has been entirely molded by hand in natural clay making each piece unique. This vase draws its inspiration from antiquity, but also from the 1950s and in particular the ceramics Picasso created during his stay in Vallauris, at the Madoura pottery. These vases are a mixture of cultures, styles, and periods, but with a touch of modernity. Lea Ginac is the daughter of two antique dealers with a passion for interior design, Léa built her personal brand with a clear vision in mind: blending ancient and contemporary aesthetics through timeless pieces with sculptural dimensions. A versatile artist, she’s designed a line of both street and home furniture, along with various decorative objects, light fixtures, and even dinnerware, all handcrafted in France and Italy. Nurtured by antiquity and design, LEA GINAC offers a range of furniture, objects, and lights combining old and modern to suit all sorts of interior designing. She uses marble and slate as noble, historical, and timeless materials. Symmetry, luminosity, and curves are the key impulses of her creativity. Off the wall and poetical, Lea Ginac invites the audience to enter her artistic world filled with history and emotions.
