Not So General Gallery in Los Angeles is proud to present lighting and object designer, Bianco Light & Space's range of sophisticated barware and objects which are all handmade by principal Anthony Bianco in his studio in Los Angeles. This point ashtray is hand casted solid glass and comes in a variety of colors. A beautiful contemporary objet manufactured by hand using traditional techniques, this ashtray will grace any room. The ashtray is available in very rare neodymium glass which appears lavender in color in daylight or incandescent light, but it appears pale blue under fluorescent / UV lighting. It is also available in clear glass as standard but custom colors (including frosted neodymium as pictured) are available on request. Made in USA. Now based in Culver City, Los Angeles, Bianco has mastered the material of glass and his work blends sculpture and functionality earning him accolades throughout the industry highlighted by his inclusion in Sight Unseen's American Design Hot List 2016 Bianco received his B.F.A. in glass with an emphasis in sculpture and wood furniture design from the California College of the Arts in 2004. He has taught at various institutions across the U.S. including Public Glass in San Francisco, Chicago Hot Glass in Illinois as well as Urban Glass, Brooklyn Glass, New York University, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Bianco has also studied under and collaborated with some of the most high profile glass designers in the industry including Jeff Zimmerman and Maestro Silvano Signoretto.
