19th Century German Solid Silver Cup, Neresheimer & Sohne, c.1890

About the Item

Antique 19th Century German solid silver cup, made in the style of the early-17th Century examples originally made in Augsburg and Nuremberg. Standing on adorned circular foot chased with lobes, the stem shaped as an archer and his young assistant, between foliate calyxes, the cup embossed with large lobes. Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo-marks used by B. Neresheimer & Sohne, Hanau. CONDITION In Great Condition - No Damage. SIZE Height: 27.5cm Width: 10cm Weight: 395g
