About the Item
Beautiful Art Deco blue and black decanter set, a wonderful addition to a barware collection. Originating from Czech republic this striking set has a very desirable geometric pattern in a rich blue with black overlay enamel decoration. No chips, damage, minimal signs of age, there is clouding at the very bottom of the decanter. The set comprises six glasses a decanter and stopper. Strong iconic black enamel decoration making this an ideal set for your barware collection. Made in the Czech republic by Karl Palda dating to the 1930's. The Czech glassworks is most famous for its pieces made in the period of 1930's when striking and inventive geometric designs became a departure from the classic two toned crystal goblets and decanters with floral carved designs. There are some light signs of wear commensurate with age, no damage.
