About the Item

Charming Chase measuring tool from the 1930's. This one of a kind price has been powder coated in a warm shade of blue. Great addition to any bar. This piece gages in ounces, 2 oz, 1.5oz, 1 oz and 3/4 oz. Chase Metal Works, founded as a family-owned business in 1876, started as a metal producer and became a major supplier to the U.S. during WWI. After the war, Chase retooled its business and began making high quality, machine-made art deco products for the home and changed its name to Chase Brass & Copper Company. At the onset of WWII, Chase converted back to wartime production. Following the war, Chase chose to cease manufacturing its barware lines.
