Cassetti, Firenze, Pair Modernist Silver Plated Thermal Wine Coolers
About the Item
A superb and rare pair of silver plated insulated wine coolers dating to the 1970s, handmade in Florence by the top-notch silversmith's, Renzo Cassetti of Florence.
The interior is lined fitted with an insulated cooler, with no need for ice "Non Mettere Ghiaccio", it is wide enough to hold a bottle of Champagne.
The underside is fully marked Cassetti and "Fatto A Mano" handmade. They have just returned from my silversmith's workshop where they were dismantled, professionally cleaned and polished. There is no need to dismantle in the future but my silversmith handmade a key which I will include which can be used to undo the bolts on the underside.
A wonderful Mid-Century Modern addition to the finest of dining tables or bars.
Excellent condition each mesuring 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 9 1/2" tall.
