Cast Iron Figural Dog Nutcracker Late 19th Century

Early cast iron dog nutcracker. This nutcracker is a very fine casting and contains a lot of detail. It has a copper jappaned finish. The dogs jaw is opened by lifting the tail. There is wear to the original finish.
