Champagne Bottle K-Over, Gates of Paradise, Solid Silver, Hand Made in Italy

About the Item

Introducing an exquisite champagne K-OVER from our Work of Art collection, meticulously hand-chiseled, engraved, and gold-plated by the celebrated artist Lorenzo Foglia. This remarkable piece draws inspiration from the iconic Gates of Paradise, Ghiberti's magnificent masterpiece on the doors of the Florence Baptistery. Lorenzo Foglia has intricately depicted key figures from the original work, including Sheba and Solomon, Jacob, Isaac, and Esau, capturing the essence of this historic treasure. Each detail is carefully crafted, showcasing the artist's exceptional skill and dedication to honoring the Renaissance techniques. The champagne K-OVER not only serves as a stunning accessory but also as a tribute to the rich history and culture of Florence. With its exquisite attention to detail, this cover brings the grandeur of the Paradise Doors to your table, blending historical reverence with contemporary elegance. Immerse yourself in the artistry of Lorenzo Foglia and experience the timeless beauty of K-OVER, a piece that echoes the splendor of one of Florence's most cherished masterpieces. Artist information: Born in Viareggio in 1971, Lorenzo Foglia was raised in his family's renowned Florence workshop, established by his grandfather in 1935. From a young age, Lorenzo demonstrated exceptional talent in traditional metalworking, learning alongside his father and grandfather. Lorenzo pursued metal arts while earning a degree in Letters and Philosophy at the University of Florence. This dual education allowed him to master techniques like embossing and chiseling and deepened his appreciation for Italian Renaissance artists. Lorenzo's illustrious career includes crafting exquisite furniture and jewelry for European Royal Houses and prestigious theater and cinema projects. He is a two-time winner of the "Art in a Jewel" competition and currently serves as President of the Silversmiths of Florence. Recognized as a "Master Craftsman" by the Tuscany Region, an "OMA Craftsman," and a "Master of Art and Craft" by the Cologni Foundation, Lorenzo's accolades are numerous. Technical Features: K-OVER is a brand of P.M.P Florence, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Our covers keep your treasured bottles of champagne fresh for up to 2 hours. K-OVER is reusable, you can easily change the bottle by unscrewing the cap at the bottom. Each champagne cover is unique and has only been displayed at artistic and cultural events, or private luxury launches. K-OVERS are compatible with champagne bottles such as Moet Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper, Perrier Jouet, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, and Berlucchi. Pure silver's resistance to oxidation makes it easier to clean and polish. Finally, the antibacterial properties of silver ensure it's safe for use with food and beverages.
