An English gold metal over silver plate and glass caviar covered dish with lion paw feet, in the Empire style, circa mid-20th century, England. Piece has an easy rolltop lid with cut glass dish insert (ice can be added below dish), finished with lion paw feet base. Piece could also be used for butter, etc., if so desired. Marked 'Silverplated', 'Made in England' on underside as shown in last two images.
