About the Item

Mid-Century Modern cocktail pitcher designed by Fred Press, of cylindrical form with a molded ice dam/pour spout and decorated with translucent green lime slices with raised, textured edges which resemble "sugaring" and it appears to be silvered. The Fred Press signature appears on the glasses and the pitcher although some are faded (see close up images). There are a set of matching 5 lime slices rocks glasses. Pitcher is 10.75" Tall and 3" across. The rocks glasses are 3.25"T x 3" across. Fred Press was a world-renowned Mid-Century designer of cocktail glassware and barware who revolutionized the giftware industry on New York’s Fifth Avenue. His designs were well known and highly collectable.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Showing little wear. Some of the Fred Press signatures are faded (see close up images). Tarnish to the slivered edges of the limes. A beautiful and rare set.
