French Empire Silver Decanter Stand, Maker Louis Joseph-Bouty, 1794-1809.
French hallmarks. Fitted with four cut-glass bottles with stoppers and eight loose cut-glass shot glasses, (bottles and glasses possibly associated). The circular stand on four ball beet, and with a pierced grey key gallery, and circular rings to accommodate the bottles and stoppers, raised on eight supports cast as female terms, all centering a hexagonal shaft surmounted by a sphere and displayed.
