19th century French 0.950 (higher purity than sterling) tastevin (or wine taster). The inscription A Bon Vin Bonne Humeur translates as To Good Wine, Good Humor. The handle is beautifully engraved and there are raised grape motifs in the body. It measures 3 1/2'' in depth by 2 1/2'' in width by 1 1/4'' in height, weighs 1.6 troy ounces, and bears hallmarks as shown.
