Danish Mid-Century Modern Poul Knudsen teak and brass nutcracker. This Classic elegant nutcracker is as beautiful as it is stylish. A clever design dating back to the 1950’s, the teak and brass nutcracker utilizes a piece of bent brass that acts like a spring mechanism making it possible to crack an entire bowl of nuts rather quickly. In comparison to traditional nutcrackers you don’t need to reset after cracking each shell, since the spring action of the brass strip, attached to the teak handles, returns the piece to its starting position after each crack. Teak and brass are in great condition. Crack some nuts and enjoy.
