Rare 1930s Art Deco Crystal and Solid Silver Globe Drinks Set

About the Item

A Rare Art Deco Crystal Cave à Liqueur With hallmarked solid silver fittings, the crystal globe supported on a circular foot and stem, the lid opening to reveal the interior designed to house the carafe and six glasses. Bearing Barcelona hallmarks and the fineness mark for high purity content. Continental, circa 1935 Dimensions: H: 20 in / 50.5 cm | Dia: 11 in / 28 cm This drinks set is one of the finest examples of its kind. The creative design is flawless, each individual glass hand cut alongside the carafe and its impressive globe. Every fitting made of high purity silver, and hallmarked, including the neck of the carafe, the lining of the interior, and the lip of the globe. The quality of the glasswork is of the finest workmanship, done by hand, and could only have been done by top makers such as Baccarat.
