A fine vintage cocktail pitcher. By Hawkes. In sterling silver mounted cut glass. With an etched inscription to the front reading: TO HAM FROM THE BACKGAMMON BOYS Signed to the rim. Simply a wonderful cocktail pitcher! Date: Early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There are a few noticeable scratches to the glass, some other fine & light surface scratches, some light edge wear and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Engraved: With an inscription to the front that reads: "TO HAM FROM THE BACKGAMMON BOYS" Maker: Hawkes Marks: Hawkes / Sterling Measurements: Height: ca. 9 in. Width (with handle): ca. 6 in.
