About the Item

These quite heavy and well executed bottle decanters are possibly hallmarked by an unknown maker, but presumed to have originated from Canada and date to approximately 1970 and done in a period midcentury style. The decanters are composed of lead crystal with faceted stoppers and nicely cut banding which accent the two engraved panels. The front panels are engraved with a Royal Canadian Field Engineers crest and on the back is an engraved panel for the Field Squadrand RCE in script. The collars of the decanters are done in sterling silver with possibly a hallmark for the maker, which we were unable to identify. Please note the three decanters are identical, but the one pictured on the far right has a slight purple tinge to the crystal.
