Set of 6 tumblers, Yellow and Amethyst color with bright red accents, Piattelli

About the Item

Set of six glasses of my own design inspired by Rothko's bitonal paintings. Executed in the kiln in Murano with the very difficult working technique called “a piera.” The body of the glass is composed of an alternating reed mosaic in amethyst and yellow with small bright red tiles that create a beautiful modern and design effect. The play of colors made by the light passing through the different shades of the glass is extraordinary, making it a unique set. Typical of this workmanship is the slight difference in height, which testifies to its craftsmanship. Punty detachment at the base of the glass indicates the "lavorazione a puntello" and hand opening by Murano master. Measurements Height: 12 cm approx. Diameter: 8.5 cm approx.
