Double Lipped Wine Rinser with Engraved Grapes and Leaves, 19th Century

About the Item

Victorian engraved and cut glass double lipped hand blown wine rinser with a pattern of grapes and leaves. The bottom half of this piece has thumb cut panels or slice cut panels while the bottom is star cut. Today these are quite often used for holding ice on a bar. The double lipped design is ideal for holding the tongs. These beautiful pieces of glass are also convenient for holding munchies on a cocktail table.
