About the Item

A stunning antique English lemon squeezer made from silver plate and fully marked on the underside for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Wilkinson & Co. This example is rather special retaining it's original Victorian glass to collect the juice together with the original knife and spoon which sit to each side of the frame. Both have matching maker's marks to the frame; so a fully complete set, a rare find. It is also lucky enough to have been struck with an English design registration number allowing us to date the design of this piece to 1868. Victorian in era and as fashionable today as the must-have bar or cocktail accessory as can been seen from the photographs. It can accommodate the bottom section of a cocktail shaker below so that juice can be squeezed directly into the shaker. Superb condition measuring 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 11".
