About the Item
Mid-Century Italian Modern "mela" ("apple" in English) ice bucket attributed to Ettore Sottsass for Rinnovel (1953, Italy). Composed of pale rose gold anodized aluminum with a gold tinted interior and brass-color stem, which serves as the handle for removing the top.
Aluminum has been newly polished but shows wear (scuffs, oxidation lines/discoloration, as shown). Overall, good, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Interior is in very good shape with only a few light scratches present.
Unmarked.
