Here is a lovely Mid-19th Century French Copper Jelly and Jam Boiling Bowl
Bring an authentic French countryside touch to your kitchen with this large antique copper marmalade bowl. Made in France, circa mid 19th century, this decorative “Bassine a Confiture” (or jelly bowl) is round in shape and features two side handles attached with rivets. The simple, traditional kitchen accessory is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich polished finish throughout; Both the inside and outside of the bowl have a hammered surface. This versatile dish could also be used as a wine or beer cooler filled with ice, or simply as a centerpiece planter.
