Original Cendese Footed Bowl in Sunny Yellow in blown Murano Glass 1980s Italy
About the Item
Original Cendese Footed Bowl in Sunny Yellow in blown Murano Glass 1980s Italy.
This bright footed bowl is an authentic creation of Cenedese, one of the most famous Venetian artists, known worldwide for its outstanding artworks in blown glass. Entirely handmade produced in the 1980s, the authenticity of the bowl is documented both from the Cenedese-logo on the inner edge of the bowl, as well as from the hand-carved signature on its base.
The bowl stands out for its strong and bright color, a sunny yellow that darkens to orange toward the edge of the bowl and of its base, evoking the colors of a summer sunset. A hand-painted black line completes the rim of the bowl. Its back is decorated with raised lines, which creates an effect of movement on the bottom of the bowl.
Essential but finished in every detail, this bowl will bring a touch of cheerfulness to your home, while enriching it with an artwork of the best Venetian craftsmanship.
