French Oak and Pine Butcher Block Table

About the Item

A French hand-built butcher block table made from oak and pine would make the perfect kitchen island. This functional antique has a thick top made of many wood fragments all held together with steel bindings. On the top surface you’ll find a lined knife storage. The block legs are joined by a stretcher for additional support.The top surface has been cleaned and coated with a food safe oil and ready to be used in your kitchen. The base has been polished with a french paste wax. There are knife marks and patina consistent with use and wear. We believe this item to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
