1950s French Crystal Art Glass Centrepiece Bowl in the Style of Art Vannes
About the Item
1950s French Art Glass fruit bowl centrepiece crystal glass bowl. The asymmetrical clear crystal glass has a shell shaped form on a three sides and a 'tidal wave' curled design on the other which makes it easy to carry. The smooth curves and polished glass makes the piece very tactile. In very good vintage condition with some scratches on the bottom commensurate with its age and past use. Perfect as a centrepiece on a dining table or sideboard especially if you can position it in a bright spot where the light can shine and sparkle through the beautiful glass. In the style of the renowned glass maker Art Vannes but there is no maker's mark etched into the glass I am therefore unable to identify the exact maker.
