About the Item
Beautiful and rare antique Italian alabaster tazza compote. Features carved grape leaves around the bowl and dolphin pedestal.
Decorate a dining table or a console with this elegant antique centrepiece. Created in Italy circa 1900 and made of alabaster, the compote stands on a round base. It features a round dish with scalloped edges and dressed with side handles; the center bowl is supported by three dolphin figure. The perimeter of the cup is decorated with vine leaves and grapes. it could also be used as a vide-poche in an entry. Fabulous decorative piece!
