Art Nouveau Majolica Centerpiece Bowl by Eichwald, Bohemia, circa 1910
$1,550

About
Beautiful rare Art Nouveau Majolica centerpiece made by the renown company of Eichwald around 1910 in Bohemia. Eichwald majolica items are well known for their very own design and colors. This great shaped, large centerpiece sits on an artfully processed base with three beige columns. The fantastic composition in dark brown, beige, grey and green tones shows the typical handwriting of Eichwald. In addition daintily berries with leaves on a grey background are adorning the top bowl. Even if its marked only with the Mod. No. 4538 (and no other visible hallmark) we can definitely say that this majolica centerpiece comes from the famous Eichwald manufactory.
