French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Ormolu and Marble centerpiece

About the Item

An most impressive and extremely high quality French 19th century Neo-Classical st. Ormolu, white Carrara and Vert de Patricia marble Sur Tout de Table centerpiece. This stunning elongated rectangular three piece plateau is raised on eight large scale pawed feet below richly chased acanthus leaves. Elegant oak leaves accent the apron and display charming acorns throughout. Above is the exceptional display surface showcasing three segments of white Carrara marble surrounded by a Vert de Patricia marble border. The three segments of the centerpiece are joined by Ormolu bands while being surrounded by a continuous scrolled and pierced Ormolu gallery. All original gilding throughout.
