Huge Unique Brutalist Centrepiece Inlaid Bowl by Elina Brandt-Hansen circa 1990s

About the Item

Monumental and exceptional masterwork by Norwegian ceramic pottery artist Elina Brandt-Hansen (1955-2017), circa 1990s. The piece speaks for itself and Elina Brandt-Hansen was an exceptional artist - making her gallery debut in 1990 in Oslo, Norway after graduating from the State College of Arts and Design in Bergen in 1987. Her work has been exhibited in many countries across the world and her works are very hard to find as most remain in private collections or museums. It is a huge and heavy piece featuring twisted, coloured blocks of clay which have been inlaid around a centerpiece in a herringbone pattern.
