Jean Luce Square Mirror Centerpiece Tray, circa 1930

About the Item

French designer Jean Luce (1895 - 1964) designed this lovely Art Deco mirrored tray, centerpiece, or platter. The piece was crafted in France circa 1930. The extra-thick mirror glass slab has a square shape with a reverse carved star-etched motif in the center. The four angles and cut corners have deep geometric beveling all around. The bottom of the piece is protected with red velvet felted underside. There is no visible designer's mark. Dimensions: 11.82 in wide (30 cm) x 11.82 in deep (30 cm) x 0.82 in thick (2 cm).
