Longwy Serving Fruit Bowl Hand Painted Floral Dish Glazed Ceramic France

About the Item

An amazing Mid-Century period faience bowl, made in France by the Emaux de Longwy art pottery workshop. Made and signed by the ceramic artist Lea Valenti. The decoration consists of daffodils with green leaves on a glazed black background. Hand-crafted and hand-painted. The underside is fully marked with several hand-written, a printed numbers next to Longwy's printed mark, featuring details of the creation process Décoré A La Main, LONGWY around the design and Made in FRANCE below. A beautiful and useful thing for serving large and wide tables. Dimensions: Length: 17.7 inch - 45 cm. Height: 6.7 inch - 17 cm. In excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs.
