Old Paris Porcelain Reticulated Compote, Paris, Circa 1815
About the Item
Circa 1815. France. This stunning Vieux Paris compote is made in two pieces of hard paste porcelain with original brass bolt. It has hand-painted floral decoration and gold leaf trim. Excellent condition - very minor hairline cracks on the inside at each end. Some gold loss. Similar to a compote in the National Gallery of Art.
