Set of Four Turquoise Earthenware Vide-Poche / Decorative Plates by Albisola

About the Item

Made in Italy, 1950s - 1960s. This set of four catchalls / vide-poches / decorative plates is made in glazed earthenware. These space-inspired plates are hand-made and hand-painted in the furnace of "il Bianco" of Albisola (1946 / 1978), where many well-known artists worked. These Spacialist plates seem to be inspired to the work of Lucio Fontana, who worked there and realized many earthenware and ceramic pieces. They are signed by Albisola. These are vintage pieces, therefore they might show slight traces of use, but they can be considered as in excellent original condition. The measures might be millimetrically different from one another due to the hand-made process. Diameter: 23.5 cm Height: 4 cm. Order it now!
