About the Item

Impressive Central piece in the shape of "Temple of Love housing Cupid", Neoclassical rotunda surmounted by an allegorical statue representing fertility The graceful maternal figure is surrounded by her three children bathing in family happiness. This large central piece in biscuit porcelain in perfect condition from the end of the 19th century, testifies to the high quality of even late productions of the "Alteste Volkstaeder Porzellan Manufaktur" founded in 1760 by Prince Johann Friedrich von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. This centerpiece, complex in its scale and details, remains in perfect condition.
