About the Item

Beautiful vintage pestle & mortar with charming age patina. Produced and used in Czechoslovakia in 1940s for spices and herbs. The item is made of a solid brass and is heavy. Fully functional. Some visible signs of use on the metal which just adds beautiful charm to the item. The strong handle can be used from both sides which allows for good and simple use. Beautiful details and finishes on the metal, especially on the rim, but also all along the sides. Wonderful item. Condition report: Excellent condition.
